Підключено ДБЖ APC Smart 1500 до сервера на Debian Linux. Для підключення використовується кабель з маркуванням 940-0272A, котрий має DB9  на стороні ДБЖ та USB на стороні комп'ютера. Цей кабель одразу розпізнається сервером на Debian. Це можна побачити через аналіз dmesg. Додати іконку запуску додатку (Addon) у головну стрічку меню в MS Excel 2007-2019 не можливо простими засобами розробника.
